So what will happen to AzwanBro now?

Updates: Bujai pun marah/malu sebab AzwanBro?! Read his latest posting Khairul Azwan is a shame! (Aug 2). The blogger, a seasoned journalist, was once very close to KJ, the Umno Youth chief. Maybe still is ...

RM0.00 LAPORAN polis dibuat Khairul berasas andaian.Dalam keterangan dia tak dapat bagi apa2 bukti. TS Khalid kata polis tak akan panggil 3 Tan Sri-Agendanews
News alerts quoting the Inspector-General of Police are saying Umno Youth deputy leader popularly known as AzwanBro failed to furnish any evidence to back his police report of a plot to topple the Prime Minister by three former top civil servants. The IGP said the police did not call any of the three Tan Sris to record their statement. AzwanBro made the police out report based on "hearsay", the IGP said.

I  happened to have just written about it H E R E yesterday:

But if AzwanBro has made that police report just for political gain, he better watch out. Because one thing that many people don't know is that the current Attorney-General Apandi Ali (pic) is not one to tolerate such pranks.

I know what Apandi's predecessor Gani Patail (who happened to be one to the three Tan Sris implicated in AzwanBro's report) would have done in this case. The current AG is quite a mystery still, so we'll have to see see....

  1. Salam Dato Rocky.

I think AzwanBro would be promoted after UMNO's General Election.....whenever Najib should decide to have one.
It would not be a surprise either, if Azwan were choosen a candidate for GE14.
And that will be....not long after Haji Hadi's Hudud bill have been passed in Parliament, in October.

Therefore Dr.M should wait till end of this year, whether or not to form a New Party. By then, PAS would most probably split again due to 'Cash is King' on one side and 'integrity' on the other.
Division.....that's the traits of PAS, especially when religion is use for worldly gain.
DAP would suffer the same fate too, when its top heirachy are made up of mostly, born-again Evangelist.
Therefore be careful, when politicians grab-hold of religion to be popular or to garner votes. Division among Malysian will definitely ensued.

Close? That's history, sir... when he took on Khir Toyo and Mukhriz for the youth no.1 spot. After joining the Cabinet, not ez to get any closer... u know la what i mean. Even the officers around him play hard to get. But that politics...and our politicians. They only come when your help is needed.

To me, its usual...very, very usual here, in Malaysia!

    Ada ke patut?

Najib has claimed on TV that the US indictment did not involve him nor 1MDB:

“I want to say that what was done by the DOJ recently does not involve me, or the Malaysian government, or 1MDB directly….This is not a criminal suit, but a civil suit… but it has been politicised by certain enemies”. [Najib on Indonesian Metro TV]

Contrast the above with the actual indictment by the DOJ, which in fact refers to criminal actions throughout, although it has instituted civil action to forfeit proceeds of crime in the United States.

    For example:

“.. multiple individuals, including public officials and their associates, conspired to fraudulently divert billions of dollars from 1MDB through various means, including by defrauding foreign banks and by sending foreign wire communications in furtherance of the scheme, and thereafter, to launder the proceeds of that criminal conduct, including in and through U.S. financial institutions”.[‘Nature of the Action’ Point 6, DOJ Indictment]

It doesn’t get plainer that that.  From the above you can see that the DOJ indictment implicates public officials in Malaysia (specified as being led by Najib) in criminally and fraudulently stealing billions from 1MDB and then criminally  laundering the money.

The suit does involve Najib.  It does involve 1MDB. It does allege criminal behaviour and major fraud.

So what will happen to NajiBro now?
