Politik Seratus Ringgit

RM100-a year for Penang's senior citizens. Read Arrest me if RM100 payout to senior citizens is corruption which appeared in the Sun yesterday. I don't think the MACC should arrest Lim Guan Eng. If they arrest the Chief Minister of this state government for the RM100-a-year token he said he's giving Penang warga emas, the MACC must arrest some Federal Government leaders for paying out RM300 a month (see table below) to senior citizens nationwide.

* Bantuan Kanak-kanak istimewa - RM100 - RM450 sekeluarga sebulan
* Bantuan Orang Tua - RM300 seorang sebulan
* Bantuan Anak Pelihara - RM250 seorang sebulan
* Elaun Pekerja Cacat - RM300 seorang sebulan
* Bantuan Am Persekutuan - RM80 - RM 350 sekeluarga sebulan
* Bantuan Khas - RM300 sebulan kepada penjaga OKU/Pesakit kronik
yang terlantar
* Elaun peserta OKU - RM150 sebulan untuk program pemulihan dalam
komuniti
* Geran Pelancaran Perniagaan -RM2,700
* Bantuan Alat Tiruan/Sokongan - Diberi PERCUMA
* Program Tambahan Makanan Seimbang untuk rakyat miskin - RM10
juta
* Bantuan Pengurusan Pusat PDK - RM252,000 setahun setiap pusat

Lim Guan Eng and all the stupid people out there thought DAP Penang is the best government in the world.

RM100 a year and all of you have orgasms already?

    Look what Feds gave.

    Nobody gave a hoot.

Bro, Guan Eng's intentions are no good. Meaning he does not have the interests of the poor at heart. First of all what happened to Guan Eng's promise that he will wipe out poverty in just 12 months after taking office? Now he is paying a one time RM100 payment.

The Welfare Department gives out money on a monthly basis. So every RM100, RM200 or RM50 helps only if you get it on a monthly basis. What good is a one time cash payment of RM100 when you only pay it once?

It is just a show off thing by Guan Eng. At the expense of the poor.

But you have to admit Bro, their showing off really small things is really canggih. They can really make a mountain out of a molehill.

Film-makers can depict homosexuals for the first time in strictly censored Malaysia -- so long as they repent or even go straight in the end, an industry group said Monday.

The new censorship guidelines reverse a ban on scenes featuring homosexuality, Malaysian Film Producers' Association president Ahmad Puad Onah said. But there's a catch.

"We are now allowed to show these scenes," he told AFP. "As long as we portray good triumphing over evil and there is a lesson learnt in the film, such as from a gay (character) who turns into a (straight) man.

"Previously we are not allowed to show these at all.

The arrest SHOULD happen - for not giving enough like how the Federal government gives out.

The MACC must build up its case files against PR leaders to aid the BN in its desire to regain the states lost to PR.

Go on Rocky, expose more of these type of variances.

But dont you ever dig beyond, like checking the % ethnic composition of the the senior citizens who are getting such aid.

It will be very embarassing to the BN which is trying out 1Malaysia on the surface but actually siphoning off much of its funding to only one ethnic group in West Malaysia in the hope of getting them to vote for it in the next elections.

(And dont call the BN act as 'bribing'. It is actually being very considerate - trying to keep them below the line of poverty forever...so that some can become 'small warlords' and continue to bully this ethnic group into always voting for BN)

  16. Hi ROCKY (Sorry..I mean DATO),

The SAD thing about PAKATAN RAKYAT is that they only know how to "WOOF, WOOF, WOOF" (bark, bark, bark). However, I'm AMAZED for the very 1st time the PENANG GOVT. under the rule of PAKATAN RAKYAT actually know how to do a JOB properly (giving RM 100 to its' senior citizens).

However, if one were to compare what the MIGHTY BARISAN NASIONAL had done for NOT only its' senior citizens but also the poor, handicapped, children homes & so on....."What that son of CHAIRMAN MAO (Oopps sorry! I mean CHAIRMAN LIM) is now offering are PLAIN PEANUTS.

Well, we gotta give at least some CREDIT to that COMMUNIST WANKER by the name of LIM GUAN ENG whose ancestors fled from CHINA to seek ASYLUM in here Malaysia. Why???

Becos' instead of knowing only how to BARK, this DOG also know how to do work (pheew...finally). This DOG finally know how to SHIT instead of just BARKING. Why do I say SHIT??? Becos' this DOG (Guan Eng) is finally giving SHIT to Penangites & the RM100 is equivalent to SHIT. Where else, BARISAN NASIONAL had been giving 'the rakyat' GOLD since decades ago.

Herewith something LIGHT & EASY for all:

Guan Eng kasi hanya satu RATUS,
    Heboh macam dihadiah kereta LEXUS,
Satu ratus boleh balik pergi MAMPUS,
Itu pun tak cukup nak beli nasi BUNGKUS.

    BN diam derma banyak-BANYAK,
DAP derma 100 pun dah LAGAK,
    Lepas derma dah mula MENYALAK,
    Bagai anjing diserang kayu BALAK.

Guan Eng cakap Lanciau dia PANDAI,
    Tapi otak dia seumpama KALDAI,
Suatu hari dia akan kena BANTAI,
    Bantai sampai lari balik SHANGHAI.

Bapak Guan Eng nama Kit SIANG,
Lari dari Cina pasal curi PISANG,
BN cakap apa pun dia nak HALANG,
    Seumpama Plaza Tol punya PALANG.

  22. What about the subsidies that non-Malays pay out to subsidise the discounts for Bumi house buyers? With a bit of a twist to the Tun's kind of thinking wouldn't it also be a bribe? After all if non-Malays refuse to pay that extra, or demand that they too be given the same discount, technically they will not be able to buy the house right? So I guess all non-bumi house buyers have paid bribes and all bumi house buyers have received bribes. Aiya...very confusing la. Maybe that is why I have not ever bought a property from a developer.

    Dato Rocky,

I must say it is a good PR mileage! As they say "It does not matter the amount given out but it is the thought that counts." But then again who is entitled to this handout and how is the dole given out? Is it prior to the festive season?

Hopefully it does not result as per the Malay proverb that translated literally means,"The chain is more expensive than the monkey," or something to that effect. Well it is a commendable effort on the part of the Penang CM as I am told he travel EY Class and does not even have a bodyguard! Thus giving out RM 100 a year augurs well with his style so I guess.

Rm100/12 months = RM 8.33 per month which amounts to 0.27 sen per day. Mmmmmm.....maybe 7 Hacks + perhaps 2 sen for a free arsewipe doled out by the Dalit Pundek Pariahs stooges helming the local DAP chapter.

Truth be said this chingkie clitleech can only lie like a pig could. Remember how he boasted that Penang had secured 10.2Billion in FDI in 2008 under his "umar Abdul Aziz" stewardship when MIDA figures show that 4.7Billion was secured during the first Q or January to March 2008 when the chingkieboy was still selling arsewipes by the roadside. Fast forward to 2009, FDI has dropped to 2Billion due to his astute management in chasing away a 10B investment on the grounds of ....lack of engineers...hahahahaha, once a stupid Chingkie always a stupid Chingkie.

and how he eradicated hardcore poverty when by 2004 it waas already at 0.05%, an insignificant number. well, folks the spin is alredy starting so that blame ca be shifted to the oppsite side as the economy mires in a swamp:

arsewhore mouthed that 1 Malaysia is a clone of 1 Israel. Well, as usual he spouted garbage as the extract below shos that it was only a political alliance and not an initiative at social re-engineering:

"One Israel (Hebrew: ישראל אחת‎, Yisrael Ahat) was an alliance of the Labor Party, Meimad and Gesher created to run for the 1999 Knesset elections.

    [edit] Background
One Israel was formed by Labor leader Ehud Barak in the run-up to the 1999 elections with the aim of making Labor appear more centrist and to reduce its secularist and elitist reputation amongst Mizrahi voters (Gesher was led by prominent Mizrahi politician and former Likud MK David Levy whilst Meimad is a religious party) modelled on Tony Blair's transformation of the British Labour Party into New Labour.[1] The coalition agreement gave Gesher the number three spot on the list (behind Barak and Shimon Peres), two other safe positions and a promise that Levy would get a ministerial position. Meimad were promised one safe spot on the list and a ministerial position for a member who did not make it into the Knesset.

In the run-up to the election, surveys predicted the party would win 33 seats. However, although One Israel did emerge as the largest faction in the Knesset, its 26 seats was the lowest ever by a winning party (Labor's 34 in the 1996 elections whilst running alone had been the previous low). Of the 26 seats, Labor took 22, Gesher 3 and Meimad one. As per the pre-election agreement, Levy was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Meimad's Michael Melchior was made Minister of Social and Diaspora Affairs.

Barak, who had beaten Binyamin Netanyahu in the election for Prime Minister, had to form an unstable coalition government with six other parties: Shas, Meretz, Yisrael BaAliyah, the Centre Party, the National Religious Party and United Torah Judaism.

Barak's participation in the Camp David Summit with Yasser Arafat in summer 2000 led to Gesher pulling out of the alliance on 7 March 2001. On 7 May the alliance was joined by the single member New Way faction, but on 15 May 2001 it ceased to exist, as the parliamentary group was renamed Labor-Meimad.

After the party's collapse, Barak was investigated following allegations that the One Israel had broken the party funding law by allowing money from abroad to be directed into campaign funds through non-profit groups in order to get around spending limits. State Comptroller Eliezer Goldberg had already fined the party 13 million shekels for breaking fund-raising laws.[2] It later became known as the "Barak Organisation Affair":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Israel

+ another 1 Isarel alliance by Yitzhak Yitzhak

Both ample proof that arsewhore was trying to pull off a stunt ala the chingkie pig.

  40. Datuk,

With all due respect, I think this should be a non-issue.

I don't think it matters how much the Penang govt wants to dish out to the senior citizens. Any amount would be better than nothing.

If they want to tell the whole world about it, then so be it. Yes, they might gain small political mileage but imho, nowadays, we are smart enough not to judge someone by a single act alone.

It's the culmination of acts that will eventually form a consistent and unwavering perception, be it good or bad. In this regard, the current govt of the day still has a lot of work to do if they want to win back the support of the people they once had. So, they better focus on doing just that rather than spending unnecessary time boasting about what they've done. Let them be judged based on their deeds, not words.

My only question is "Why was the RM100 largesse restricted to registered voters only?"

What makes these people different from other non-voting senior citizens ? What makes them more worthy to receive my RM100 tax money ?

Your motive becomes crystal clear when you choose to focus on 1 segment of the population vs another.

Like it or not -- LGE himself opened up this can of worms. He should have given the RM100 to everyone over 60. Not just voters. If he's paying voters, that's political corruption. QED.
