Was the Garland your idea, M. Muniandy?

Latest! I was told the delegate involved is one Peter Sugumaran, mic delegate paya besar division in pahang.
Muniandy is not the one.

updates 4.30pm
Delegate suspended.
This statement came in a little while ago. That hasn't stopped some angry people from planning an assembly in front of Muniandy's house in Ampang. It's going to be a peaceful gathering, they told me. "We want to throw slippers at his house".

DATO SAMY'S BRIEF STATEMENT ON SLIPPER ISSUE. With the powers vested in me as President under the MIC Constitution I have suspended the delegate with immediate effect pending the recommendations by the Disciplinary Committee to the CWC on any further action on the delegate. I hope that with this decision the issue will be settled. I have also discussed this matter with other senior leaders of MIC and the agreed with the suspension.
Original article
MIC's slipper. The Utusan Malaysia report "Kalung selipar gambar Dr Mahathir" (Utusan Malaysia, 14/9) quoted an MIC delegate from Ampang by the name of M.Muniandy throughout but did not say it was Muniandy who tabled the motion to give the garland of slippers to Dr M for allegedly interfering in the party's affairs. It was enough to earn Muniandy some colorful expletives from blogger Apanama who wants Muniandy's boss Samy Velly to apologize to the former PM.
DON'T EVER insult Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad, unless you want the situation to get ugly. -- "Who is the Bloody Bastard?"
More angry bloggers: Sudah sampai masa BN kaji semula kedudukan MIC and MIC now in real trouble

There will be a lot of angry Umno politicians, too, after the Deputy Youty Chief and even the former Youth Chief have come down hard on MIC for the uncalled for incident.

If the garland was indeed his idea, this Muniandy thoroughly deserves the shit they're throwing at him. He should have learned from the former spin doctors of ex-PM Abdullah Badawi who tried to demonize Mahathir in order to make his boss look better. This was back when the Umno leaders did not come to the defence of Dr M for fear of losing their positions. But the people were angered by the kurang-ajarness. You may not agree but Malaysians generally respect the Tun and love him for the good he's done or tried to do for this country. You don't try to treat a statesman like a pariah.
p.s. I know of one Muniandy who is in MIC and he is a Dato and the boss of the Kuala Lumpur Indian vendors. If it's the same Muniandy, I hope the slippers weren't his idea.

As for Hisham.. - he of all people should shut up, what is more offensive - insulting a ex PM or a religion of over a few million in Malaysia and 100s millions of Hindu religion worldwide. He FULLY supported those aggressors with the cow head.

Heard from the grapevine that Samy or Subra might join PKR. But first, they must destroy MIC.

The PKR policy is to accept any disgruntled BN rejects.

Once accepted by PKR, they will be baptised into 'new borns'.

    Rocky,
As many who have seen my posts I am no fan of UMNO/BN and was never a fan of Tun's politics. However I always admit that many a time the man has very strong insight on Malaysian politics and is that rare breed of leaders that spoke his mind clearly and succintly and on quite a number of issues, such as the English Education policy, have agreed with him.
His views on what ails the MIC are very clear and make perfect sense has his insight that BN can go the way of the LDP in Japan.
Unfortunately for MIC delegates - the failed to take his advice and there is no way this Muniandy fella would have said what he said without Samy Vellu's clearance.
All this really is a sign that the MIC has committed political suicide. Its a one-man show run as Samy's personal fiefdom in some misguided belief that Indians in Malaysia actually believe in the party.
The MIC has run out of ideas, run out of steam and is living in its own closeted world.
Why are they needed in BN? Would BN be slightly better off without them......
MCA will be next and for UMNO, they are closely following suit - unless someone within can really reform the party.

Indians Killing Indians – A Slow Day

    Death Toll : 1 only

PETALING JAYA: An elderly woman lost her life in what is believed to be a robbery-turned-murder involving RM100,000 worth of jewellery.

    A. Kuppu, 73, was found dead by her neighbours in her home at Desa Mentari.

..the child saw a relative who visited the victim earlier that night. The relative later left with the jewellery. “We believe her head was smashed violently against the wall,” ACP Arjunaidi said.

Police have identified the relative and are trying to locate the person.

    Dear Rocky Bru,

On a general note, we have more sensible and loyal Indians in this country than those who are just out to create political, economic and social problems and issues within their own community.

The Indian community are being split down to about 7 or 8 political entities, and had for decades depleted the bargaining power of the Indians who only represent less than 12% of the total Malaysian population. MIC through its president had claimed that more 600,000 Indians are MIC members, while the other Indians are members of the PPP, PKR, DAP, etc. Somehow, the total sum of Indians represented in the said political parties do not tally according to Register of Society.

So who is Samy Vellu trying to bluff, the voters or the Indian community? As far as BN is concerned, the MIC registered membership stood at less 350,000 only.

Coming back to the MIC versus Tun Mahathir's problems, someone in the Samy camp tried to sabotage Samy's relationship and goodwill with the former PM. Out of a sudden Samy realised that he can't afford to condemn Tun M as it may backfire as PM Najib in a way still listens to Tun for certain political inputs, especially when dealing with the BN component party matters.

It was reported that Samy Vellu still maintained the cabinet record of having kissed Tun hands the most number of times among the Ministers themselves.

I opined that the so-called behaviour of the Ampang MIC delegate to have suggested that TUN M deserved to be sandalised is absolutely "kurang ajar". We, the rakyat readily demand that an open public apology by Samy Vellu to be extended to Tun as soon as possible. The apology should be fully covered by the media when the incident happens.

Get rid of MIC. BN should help Subramaniam form a new party for Indians, and combine it with IPF. Most Indians will support Subra, and will bring in votes for BN.

However I hold Samy Vellu responsible as President of MIC and he should apologise unconditionally otherwise it would be seen that Samy Vellu agreed with the slipper garland delegate.

Either apologise and take disciplinary action or take the MIC out and leave BN, there is no place for a party that condones this sort of kurang ajar behaviour on past Prime Minister who have done so much for this country. Samy leaving with his supporters is no loss to BN as he has outstayed his welcome anyway.

Contoh klasik Nazri Aziz!
Inilah satu sebab mengapa pemimpin-pemimpin UMNO kini kurang dihormati. Mengambil tindakan berpilih-pilih!

  51. Muniandy died and went to heaven. When he arrived at the heaven gate, Siva the God said, "Come on in. I'll show you around. You'll like it here."

Walking through the gates, Muniandy noticed clocks is everywhere. There were grandfather clocks, wall clocks, watches, and clocks in every corner. It appeared that heaven was nothing more than a giant clock warehouse.

Surprised at how heaven looked, Muniandy asked, "God Siva, what's the deal? Why are all these clocks here in heaven?"

God Siva replied, "The clocks keep track of things on earth. There is one clock for each person. Every time the person on earth tells a lie, his clock moves one minute.''

"For instance, this clock is for VK Lingam, the lawyer. If you watch it closely, it will move."

'Click' The minute hand on VK Lingam's clock moved one minute.

    'Click' It moved another minute.

"VK Lingam must be with some judges right now." said God Siva. The minute hand on his clock moves all day.

''Why the minute hand suddenly jumps three times?" ask the man.

God Siva smiles and said "He must have just said 'correct, correct, correct!'. I see it jumps like that quite often."

Muniandy and God Siva continued walking. Soon, they came to a strange looking clock with some springs sticking out.

Siva said '"Oh! That is Aanwar Ibrahim's clock. During his trial, the clock span so fast and the springs came out eachtime he said "conspiracy, conspiracy. Now it is moving quite smoothly".

Muniandy and God Siva continued their walk . They came to a clock with cobwebs on the minute hand.

"Whose clock is this?" asked Muniandy.

"That clock belongs to the Lawyer Karpal Singh.. He is one of the finest, God-fearing, people on earth. I bet his clock hasn't moved in a year or two."

They continued walking and touring heaven. Muniandy enjoyed watching the clocks of all his friends. When the tour was finished, Muniandy said:

"I've seen everyone's clock but Mr Samy Vellu's. Where is his clock?"

    God Siva smiled and said:

"Just look up. We use his clock as a ceiling fan. That's why it is so cooling here."

But I wonder if Rocky owes muniandy an apology. No doubt Rocky did not exactly say that Muniandy was the one, but the blog title in form of a question implied it. And now people are going to his house to throw slippers. This, despite the update !

But I guess Rocky is too big too apologise.

What the MIC delegate did have nothing to do with with any other culture ,a typical new fashionable way of showing anger towards leader and former leaders introduced by an iraqi. When the Iraqi did to Former US President George Bush even our Malaysian Ministers agreed and supported it even giving justification ,and the worst part he threw at him ,over here he garlanded on Dr M photo. The point i'm bringing here is we should'nt be bias.I strongly condemned Critisising leaders in this way it's not the malaysian way.If people are not happy in certain things use proper channel and not bringing cow headlah garland with slippers ,burning flag and so on ,come on guys learn good things from the world and don't bring bad habits to malaysia ,remember don't take for granted peace and good relation we have with all malaysian here .

But not all like that. There are some of the bosses (in the PR of course) who have been probed in the their holyarse by RPK but yet no reaction was shown! What, eh? LOL.

  73. So far the score is not looking too good:
You have MIC making every attempt to destroy itself and irrelevant to the Indian community - whilst Samy is oblivious to the fact that not only the Indians don't need him - but neither does BN.
MCA on self destruct mode with the Chief and Deputy out to destroy the party.
UMNO in self denial mode - somehow thinking reverting to the old ways will bring the voters back.

Pakatan must thing this is Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Christmas rolled in one. Despite their problems - they don't even need to fight BN - as BN is doing a superb job at fighting amongst themselves.

Come on, Rocky. Disrespectful is a kind of social ill that is beginning to loom large on the political sphere but it is not only happens in MIC.

In fact it also happened (earlier) to PKR and the others as well. Do you still remember how Hadi (the President of Pas) was reacted to Anwar's claimed that he would be on the PM's roll call (in his dream of course) come September 16?

Yes this head honcho of Pas fired a warning shot across Anwar's brow in that he garlanded Anwar with a metaphorical name calling as 'Mat Jenin' sort of daydreamer! Hmmm, so much for a sacred cow branded on PR's forehead. Who cares, really?

Kah, kah bro... this Mic Fella probably has lost his mind and for that he doesn't actually required to mince his word.

This just an unfortunate incidence due to failure in some people's ability to control its own tune and temper. As a result, in this case, people can't really differentiate between a man or a cow or a sacred cow.

As the landlord of this holy cow's fiefdom, we would be very happy to invite this fella to reside in the Pakatan Stooge's territory next to its kind (peguam Serva Rasa) for good.

If that is not considered as instigating the hindulens to react then what is it all about? Revealing the fact? Hmm, this arselicker always have a load of bullshit in their mouth. Awaiting to be swallowed whole!

Dr Mahathir's grand father is a Indian Muslim from Kerala who married a Malay woman in Kedah. Dr. Mahathir's father, Mohd Iskandar is therefore of half-indian origin who later married a Malay lady and were blessed with nine children the youngest being Dr Mahathir. I think that makes Dr Mahathir a Malay through and through. For sure his roots are in Kedah, Malaysia...a Malay heartland.

    Dear Sdra Rocky,

Actually, common sense will reveal that the MIC delegate who had openly insulted our Tun Mahathir at recently concluded MIC Annual Assembly has yet to be truly identified. Was it Muniandy, Sugumaran or someone else who should be held for the fiasco?

I believe the culprit was a strong loyalist and supporter of Samy Vellu, based on the worsening relationship between Samy and Tun Mahathir over the last 2 years. The culprit could not have been someone from Dato Subra's camp, given the strong and brotherly ties between Subra and Tun Mahathir from the 1970s until today.

I opined that given the seriousness and public outcry of the issue, the MIC President Samy Vellu should be held responsible for the rotten and uncivilized behaviour of the suspected delegate.

As MIC party chief, Samy should not just throw the blame on the poor scapegoat, but he should personally apologise and kiss Tun Mahathir's hands as demanded by the majority Malaysians, who still respect and love our former Prime Minister.

It is most unethical for Samy Vellu to conclude that the issue is closed, just because he
has the ultimate power to suspend the culprit from MIC!How can MIC progress and win back the heart and mind of the Indians in particular, when you have a undemocratic elected leader who had forever and ever disclaimed responsibility in whatever went wrong with MIC?

Samy will be the first one to claim personal credit, honour and glory when things go well with the Indian community. Datuk Samy, actually the Indian community will be truly united and happier, only if the incumbent prime minister Najib Tun Razak opens his heart to care for the plight of your people without any political, economic and social pressure from you and your MIC warlords.

Only PM Najib can help the Indians, but not Samy Vellu even if he is the "Prime Minister" in his wildest dream. Samy Vellu and his kuncu-kuncu, better wake up and work harder for the Indians
and stop blaming PM and the others for not doing enough, except your own arrogant and egoistic body and soul.

Malay's way of thinking from the comment given in this blog...

When TDM protected Malay....Malay just quiet.

When he implemented policies for the benefit of Malay....all Malay just enjoying that.

When an Indian insulted him.....this few empty head of Malays...said "what big deal...TDM is Indian"

Not matter either TDM or who ever...no one should be insulted that way....

Need to respect each other...but Malay take differeces in politic above of everthing. At least respect him as old man....

Shame on Malay....don't even has respect to old Man from own race and religion....just becaouse he is not from the political party that we supported..

Does the pariah deserve any respect after all the atrocities he had committed.
If I was there I would have done something worse and the pariah cannot send me to Taiping under ISA. He is no longer the P.M. that he can have hundreds of innocent people arrested and sent to Taiping jail in the name of ISA.

Even a cowherder could pull a crowd of “cows”. But cows are cows, that’s what they are..following blindly behind the cowherder.

This Madhatter would say “Some people might say I am being racist”, knowing very well that he is INDEED a HARDCORE RACIST.

Madhatter is a GREEN-EYED MONSTER when he sees some race is doing well as DOCTORS! I don’t know why, but when talking about this race, he OOZES with JEALOUSY for them being DOCTORS/LAWYERS or professionals. He successfully shrank them in numbers from the CIVIL SERVICE.

Madhatter is also very talented in complaining and stoking hatred. He abhors seeing unity among races. The stupid SABAHANs were cheated. You see, SABAH is now “infested” with illegal immigrants from Indonesia and Phillipines, who were converted into legals through PROJEK IC. It’s a master plan to stop SABAH from breaking away!

Some IDIOTS HAIL this Madhatter for modernising Malaysia. Yeah! building mammoth infrastructures doesn’t really give any benefit. These infrastructures are akin to a LONG PIECE of SHIT, yeah SHIT, it attracts FLIES. That’s what we have now in Malaysia. He moved out of office after almost emptying the treasury.

Garland of slippers is not enough but he should be paraded on a donkey! This Madhatter is a descendant of the barbarian called Tippu Sultan. The Moplah maddogs from Kerala!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Some of the buggers who condemn the slipper garland suggestion are the same monkeys who supported the Arab guy who threw shoes at Pres. Bush. So its OK for Arab to throw shoes at a leader but not ok for an Indian guy to merely suggest a lipper garland for one ex-dictator. Sheesh these arab arselickers are unbelieveable!
