An advice for Najib

"Keep the cronies and family members at bay". Read h e r e.

Najib will ignore this advice at his own peril. We've seen what happened when a PM lets his unscrupulous cronies and family members [and their own unscrupulous cronies and family members] run the country as if it's their fiefdom.

    Rock,
Yes, DS Najib of keeping the cronies and family members at bay. He should also be mindful of the fact that when he is the PM, the enemies will bring up the Altantuya case to smear and topple him as PM. Then, the question remains, who is to gain? I was also wondering on why so many are vying for the No. 2 post????

Tun, you are a great man, but your kids gave you a bad name and "cakap tak serupa bikin" label.

So do not expect anyone to follow your advice. Better if it comes from Nik Aziz...

  6. It is a well given advise by Tun Mahathir - " Dont let the people feel isolated or dealianated by the decision and get the opinion of expert".

My thought on how to implement this when one need to make important decision once urget matter comes . 1. Survey the problem faced by people, 2. Form a think-tank group to discuss about these problems, issues and the perceived solution 3. Call a conference consists of expert - domestic and international, 4. Threw the problems, opinion of people to these experts and asked them for answers.

Finally, weigh all the solution against consequences and get the right decision.

Yes. A timely reminder. But then again the former PM could well advise Najib to shift the cronies and family members to his own camp instead. So it's just a simple act of juggling. Like what you see in the circus. It's the basic fundamental trademark of UMNO and Barsisan politics for 30+ years. What makes 2002 and the years ahead any different? The one single element that shall make the difference in the political landscape in this country is not in the hands and minds of the politicians. It's the RAKYAT that determines and forge the direction. Unless we all do not care or bother to get committed in our own individual ways to care.

From tonight onwards, Team RPK said there will be an Anti-ISA Candle-light Vigil at the padang behind A&W, next to Taman Jaya Putra LRT, starting 8pm. More and more people are starting to come and support RPK and all the ISA detainees. Even the cars passing by horn loudly to give their support. Come with a friend next Sunday, it's a peaceful gathering of Malaysians who believe in a free and democratic Malaysia.

  10. Many have said that his wife, Rosmah, is Najib’s main weakness; perhaps it’s true, perhaps it has been overblown by those who do not want Najib to be in power. Thus it is the best interest of her husband that Rosmah to take serious note of this negative perception.

Cronyism and Nepotism happens everywhere, even in western democratic countries like the USA and UK which supposedly champion democratic rights. Such negative influences are difficult to eradicate and indeed Najib should be seen to mitigate them. PM and his family are the worst in our country’s history and it’s a joke that anyone should propose PM as the Father of Democracy but that's
basic democracy, every individual supposed have the right to what he/ she believes.

This is a real tragedy especially coming from the old man who honed cronyism and nepotism to a fine art during his 22 years in office. Does the old man really believe that the rakyat has forgotten what he had done as PM ? Does he think that we no longer have memories of his cronies like Syed Mokhtar and the bailouts of his children ?

Najib may be stupid, but the rakyat sure is not stupid.

    Bro Rocky,
Mahathir thinks that with his wide audience at chedet.com and coverage given by media esp bloggers like you, he can sway the opinion of people.

The votes against UMNO/BN was against the legacy of Mahathir. Pak Lah got overwhelming support in 2004 because he was expected to change that legacy. He failed miserably ... partly because of nepotism.... hence the electoral reversal in March 2008.

If Mahathir hopes that Najib would continue with Mahathirism, Najib will be seen as the last UMNO leader to have put the final nail to the coffin of UMNO/Barisan.

  24. UMNO is a strange party indeed!!
A crook has now turn to advise another crook..and is considered ...a wise man.
I guess stealing our money to enrich the party...personal and selected Muslims...are accepted by some.
    Is Rocky...hero worshiping Mahathir?
    I hope not.
In any case..vast majority Malaysians are really sick of the mentalities and downright....braggarts..crooked hypocrites...and want the country...to have a change in government.
One smart Gerakan newly elected CC member...Dr. Hsu Da Ren..have been promoting...Gerakan..as.."The Third Force"...meaning a force to be a watchdog...between Pakatan and UMNO.
If that happens...it will mean...Gerakan will be the most powerful party...as pawn in a political chess game.
See...how smart..those politicians are .with their ideas...to save the party...and actually...never really talk benefits for Malaysians.
Similarly...UMNO still thinks voters voted in protest...and keep using that word...to brain wash voters....thus making firm commitment for change of government...to Malaysians....being fence sitters...giving UMNO more hope.
Such political tactics....Mahathir is very good at.
Dr.Hsu...is hoping his tactics...will get Penang voters to vote Gerakan...as the "Third Force"
That we know...it will never happen..as Gerakan is dead...gone and buried....by smart Penang voters.
What about...the "protest " votes...UMNO and Mahathir are now using?
    Who are they talking to?
    Obviously....the millions of Muslims.
So...do Muslims want change of government....or be the only country in the world...afraid of changes...proven real half pass sixes.
We have to wait...till 13th election...to know the truth...don't we?
Meanwhile...those who want changes..must talk .till the drop dead...to make sure...readers understands..what that
'protest' voters mean...by sly fox.....Mahathir..who used more than.. RM1.2 billion of our money..to save his son...with no shame nor regrets at all.
Is he not..the retired corrupted..dictator..or is he a saint??

    Salam Rocky,

    An observation:

Why aren't you commenting about Mahathir now being in a position to be able to better dictate or influence policy, now that Najib (Mahathir's protege) is very likely to be in power?

The argument by Muhyiddin et al. that Najib is his own man and will not be influenced by others is interesting, but somewhat naive. We know that Mahathir, for his support and advocacy of Najib, would now have greater say in policymaking, at least indirectly, for good or for worse. This is somewhat inescapable. This is precisely what was pointed out by Zaid Ibrahim as quoted in the Malaysian Insider piece, where he mentioned that this might be the return of "Mahathirism".

Why aren't you highlighting this as well? Where is your sense of balance in reporting and analysis? Why do you consistently disregard or fail to report any news that might paint Mahathir in unfavourable light, even if it is a real possibility?

    Thanks.

Azalina may have to get New Billboards if there is a new PM...
Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said must be seriously thinking about her new 'tourism billboards' - after all, come March 2009 all those large tourism billborads that has Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Mohd Najib Razak and of course, Azalina Othman herself may have to changed to potray the the new PM, new DPM and herself if she is still the Tourism Minister.

She is already taking steps to get into the potential winners of the PM-DPM race ...

Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said today said that the combination of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak and International Trade and Industries Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin would be the best for the country's leadership.

The former Puteri Umno chief and presently a member of Umno's Supreme Council, also said that the combination was proven as both leaders had worked together under both the leadership of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

"Tan Sri Muhyiddin did say he can work with Datuk Seri Mohd Najib and I'm sure that Najib can also work with Muhyiddin. This shows that they are a good combination," she said after launching the Student Tourism Programme in Felda Semenchu, here today. - Bernama, 12/10/2008 - Najib- Muhyiddin Combination Good For The Country, Says Azalina
A friend of mine was wondering why Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's wife was not on those Billborads...only Najib's wife. Of course, when I looked closer, I noted that is was not Najib's wife but our new tourism Minister.

I think it is not right to put the Minister's own photo, or the picture of the PM and DPM. In tourism posters and Billboards place pictures of ordinary Malaysians (Make sure that it depicts the multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-cultural aspects of the malaysian people as it was done previously...)

I believe that Azalina is not the only Minister using her position to do a bit of self-promotion. If not mistaken, I also saw our Agricultural Minister's image on one Billboard as well...Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin, if not mistaken.

Well, Kit Siang did raise this matter in August 2008...

Tourism Minister Datuk Azalina Othman Said and her deputy Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Abdul Taib came under heavy fire from Ipoh Timur MP Lim Kit Siang for being absent during question time in parliament yesterday.

The DAP leader became infuriated when the two were not present to answer his question on the cost of putting up tourism promotion billboards along the North-South Highway.

Lim had also asked the rationale for having images of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Azalina on the billboards.

"Is there any scientific study on how these images can help promote tourism?" he asked in a question for oral reply...."What is the point of having their pictures (on the billboards)? This will not invite tourists but chase them away," he said.

...Eventually a copy of the answer prepared by the Tourism Minister was handed to Abdul Latiff and he read it out, saying that the ministry had placed 38 billboards along the highway through Tourism Malaysia.

"The billboards were placed at strategic locations along the highway at a rental cost of RM750,793.31 for the period of June to December 2008."- The Edge Daily, 22-08-2008: Kit Siang lambasts absent tourism minister, deputy

Next week Azalina may be the Finance Minister No. 3 - and we will have a new Tourism Minister --- will this mean new Billboards?

That is why what Azalina did must be condemned...

Were those billboards put up to get and remain in the good books of the PM-DPM? Was it to help ensure she remains Tourism Minister? Was it purely self promotion? Or was it an indication that after Najib - Azalina will be the next PM....mmm

This crony and nepotism issue is an outdated topic.

How can you run a business without a team? Surely you would not run a business with your enemies? So, how do you draw the line?

If you look at the Pakatan team, they are also a bunch of cronies grouped together, but no their followers do not see it that way.

Would you expect Najib to appoint his enemies to man the cash till? Only a fool foolish enough would do so.

So, lets not be hypocritical about this outdated crony and nepotism issue and let the man run his own show with his own trusted team.

The rakyat can voice their approval or otherwise at the next ballot. The opposition cronies are there to keep the governing cronies in check.

Can C4 Altantuya be a respected PeeM of Boleh Nation called Malaysia, if so then Boleh Land’s Rakyats will suffer greater hardship from the UMNO Oppressor???

The use of ISA to protect Nargis is taking a toll on the Nation’s economy, the capital flights were the nett results. It is this tyro Finance Minister who will further sleep with Bodohwi’s budget against the present world economic situation are the issues the Rakyats of Malaysia will further face and suffer greater hardship and took toll on the higher food prices that are not coming down soon. The tyro Finance Minister could not find any solution nor direction in resolving the urgent need to keep food prices down reasonably.

The UMNO Clown Botak and his cohorts will be made to taste their own medicines when the time of reckoning comes very soon.

Leave BN, all Component Parties with a conscience must leave the Evil Master Oppressor UMNO for good ok??? Leave & let them, the UMNO clowns to settle the horse trading & witchhunt between Flip Flop and C4 ok???

Come October 2008 there is nothing left but the Opposition Leader’s Post to Hand Over from Flip Flop to C4 ok???

There should be no peace for Botak if the ISA detainees are not released and the oppressive draconian law is not abolished because such injustices are not tolerated and thus create great discontentment in this modern society. One day Botak and his cohorts should be made to eat their own medicine for the injustices they have committed against the detainees especially RPK & Hindraf Leaders, our Brave Heros no doubts.

We call upon all the Rakyats of Malaysia to sign a Petition to be sent to the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong to release RPK from his detention under ISA because there is a hidden agenda of a conspiracy of using his detention to silence him so that he could not further release more evidences against the real C4 murderers of Altantuya because all the accused were all fall guys of the real murderers because they all did not have a real & logical motive to murder the Mongolian Lady.

THE NEW DAWN OF MALAYSIA HAS COME & THE FIRST THING IS TO ALLOW APPEALS & THEN RELEASE ALL ISA DETAINEES, ABOLISH ISA, OSA, SEDITION OR WHATEVER ACTS THAT COULD BE EXPLOITED AND MADE PREJUDICIAL AND OPPRESSIVE TO THE VOICE OF DISSENT FROM ALL THE RAKYATS.

It is very easy to generate Police Reports against DSAI by using Penang Mamak Umno’s 25 Members headed by Wan Abidin Zain, who claimed to be non-partisan, using their uneasiness that most Penangites will now be boycotting Nasi Kandar one more round???

It is very Sad that the legacy of Malaysian Independence is reduced by this Moronic Flip Flop Coward into great disrepute and a laughing stock of the whole world and knowing very well that the UMNO Government has technically collapsed and they have lost locus standi to govern but yet he has decided to shamelessly still cling on to power via dubious means like hiding himself via using of the ISA and we cannot imagine that the Malaysia Moronic Flip Flop Coward has now stoop so low and using the Police Deputy IGP as his willing tools especially the Deputy IGP’s clearly taking side as the Police must be neutral and should be not politiking for him. Now the Police and AG had stoop even lower with the tampering of Evidences against RPK and it is the shame to the Malaysian Justice with such behaviors from the Police who are sworn to uphold the Law and Order but committed criminal activities at the direction of the UMNO Clown Botak Home Minister to Protect Nargis the PeeM in waiting.

The Coward Moronic Flip Flop Chicken dare not meet DSAI face to face to settle matters but chose hiding under the use of ISA and that is what you have as a disgraceful cowardice leader for UMNO.

After 51 years MALAYSIA IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE but backwards because of the Oppression from the UMNO goons’ divide and rule fear tactics the Rakyats have matured & you must see all this coming because All The Rakyats of Malaysia are all fed-up & can no longer with-stand the hypocrisies, bullshits, lies and deceits of these UMNO Clowns now in Power ok??? What Oil Subsidies IS nothing but a hoax that the UMNO Government MAKE BELIEF THAT THERE IS AN OIL PRICE SUBSIDY TO THE PRICE OF FUEL BUT IN FACT THERE WERE NONE THIS IS BECAUSE MALAYSIA IS THE NET EXPORTER OF OIL THAT IS ONLY AFTER DEDUCTING DOMESTIC CONSUMPTION THE BALANCE IS EXPORTED TO EARN FOREIGN EXCHANGE. THESE LIARS MAKE US BELIEVE BY CONTINUOUS PROPAGANDA THAT THERE ARE OIL PRICE SUBSIDY BUT IN FACT THERE WERE NONE BECAUSE THE PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACTUAL SALE LOCALLY AND THE PRICE THEY INTENDED TO SELL ABOARD IS AN OPPORTUNITY COST NOT PRICE SUBSIDY.

We urge all BN Components & MPs with a conscience to do the necessary to make possible a New Malaysia for all Rakyats of Malaysia so that all our children and their children & their children’s children’s future will be safe and secured in the Country we all love and not be intimidated by those UMNO Clowns now in power with their oppressive & fear tactics and in the verge of making Malaysia a Police State if left unchecked otherwise. Save RPK as he is the midst of a conspiracy of the real murderers of Altantuya to silence him for good, instead of being C4ed he could be poisoned and worse off if he is on hunger strike by himself. The Acting IGP is defending the Police position after being made the tools of UMNO’s fear tactics & so he is now making lame excuses for being the Stringed Puppet to be easily manipulated by the Puppeteer, power that be. The Deputy IGP must be held personally responsible for the safety of RPK who has been heard to be tortured otherwise he must be made to eat his own medicine come the New Dawn of Malaysia.

Moronic PeeM and Botak Home Minister last minutes’ attempts to cling on power by using the fear tactics of using the ISA at their whims and fancies selectively against dissent & tried to deny their own actions as they now have no balls to face the wrath of the all the Rakyats of Malaysia. ONE DAY THE MORONIC BOTAK AND FLIP FLOP AND C4 MUST BE MADE TO TASTE THEIR OWN MEDICINE OK?

All Rakyats of Malaysia will see to that these Clowns will be thrown out soon come the New Dawn of Malaysia & that all Rakyats of Malaysia will welcome the New Malaysia on Malaysia Day 916, 2008 for a Malaysia for All Malaysians.

Justice MUST BE DONE for Altantuya and for all those detained under ISA without the trial nor the rights of appeal. Think so? This advice came from the master of them all.

Nah. Najib will learn from his "sifu". But he will improve on them. He will also learn from AAB's mistakes. His cronies and family members will be more low key and well hidden unless of course power gets into their heads (as they always will eventually) and they will flaunt them.

The BN/UMNO has lost 2/3 majority and five states.

There is something else that is happening which many people dont realise, which will affect Najib's tenure as PM and UMNO/BN's survival.

The country is still growing at a steady 5%-6% even despite the morons and monkeys in Govt. This is basically the Chinese economy - which functions quite independently of the moron mismanagement of the country.

UMNO has tried but failed to use the racial threats to frighten the Chinese to keep voting for BN, or the Malays to keep supporting UMNO.

The Keris thing has backfired, the latest manifestation of moronism is the Tabung Azan proposed by UMNO Cheras to 'fight' Teresa Kok, a woman MP. UMNO is becoming a laughing stock.

Bottom line is UMNO/BN's moronism has forced the Chinese to seek their own happiness independent of the morons. And they are doing it quite well. What it means is that the Chinese need not vote for Najib anymore.

The Indian vote has also been lost - perhaps permanently. Najib's FIRST statement as PM-in-waiting that the Hindraf were rude to gate crash the PM's Open House was not politically astute. Yes the Hindraf was rude. But Najib could have said it another way, or perhaps waited till a few days later after things have cooled down.

Najib was talking tough jut to show off to the UMNO gallery. But at what cost? You have lost the Indian vote too. And Najib must realise that UMNO is now the moron's club. What benefit is there if you try to impress morons?

The Malay vote is now completely split. Anwar will likely be jailed for sodomy. But no one really cares about liwat anymore. The retort even among the Malays is 'so what if he liwat?'

But they dont like it if Anwar is jailed. And this means votes lost. UMNO has lost a large chunk of the Malay vote. And PAS is gaining even more in popularity.

So you cannot frighten the Chinese anymore. The Chinese prosper quite well by AVOIDINg you. The Indians are not going to support you. The majority Malay vote is also lost.

In such a situation, Najib better make sure that NO SKELETONS pop out of his closet - be they from escapades, from the deep sea, from the Mrs, from cronies or whatever.

The very survival of UMNO/BN is at stake here.

The biggest yardstick by which voters will REFUSE to vote BN/UMNO is if Najib and his team fail to move the country forward. Right now Najib has neither any idea nor the right advisers to tell him how to move the country forward.

So Najib cannot afford to make things worse for himself by goofing up even a tiny bit over cronies, domestic affairs, kitchen cabinets and such.

So listen to Dr Mahathir's advice carefully.

Methinks we doth think too highly of ourselves (Asgardian Thor)

The only way the Rakyat can make a diff is in the way they poll as that's where it hits the worse.

All else is like the Malay saying: "Masuk telinga kiri, keluar telinga kanan."

Especially if they already have something else in their minds.

    God bless.

    Sinatra Z,

Now its difficult to take over because the Speaker can say "ok, no need motion of no confidence since Pak Lah gonna retire already".

    So how?

That's why Abdullah should have let Anwar do the no-motion of confidence in an emergency session in September.

Now the Speaker will disallow it saying its not necessary anymore.

Now you see itu Barisan Nasional punya trick?

  42. When the citizens (rakyat) elect MPs and among the MPs from the wining party one MP is proposed to the King (sovereign) as the PM. This is the British westminster model of parliamentary democracy.

In the US and in most other republics, the citizens elect a person to be Presient. This is the presidential model of parliamentary democracy.

Presidents has sweeping powers. This may come from historical legacy - as predisents usually replaced the monarch of the day. History also tells us that all these replaced or deposed monarchs wielded absolute powers.

In the westminster model - the PM does not and should not enjoy presidential type powers and standing. Quite rightly so, as he was only elected by the rakyat in his parliamentary area, and not by the entire nation. Technically speaking, he does not command the presidential popular votes and this the position of a president.

In the westminster model, the power to govern the country rests with the entire cabinet. The PM is but the FIRST AMONG EQUALS.

It is clear that Malaysia had adopted the westminster model. Thus the PM is only a first person to speak on any issues among the cabinet members - who are his equals.

Another, not entirely incidental, characteristic of the westminster model is the role of the civil service. Ministers may come and go. For that matter, the government may change from the incumbent to the opposition and back and forth, again and again. The civil service heads - the Sec. Gens. (KSU in Malaysia) would remain the same persons. If there were any changes, it was the result of the civil service administration succession and or rotation plan and NOT because of the change of government.

In the last 5 years, Malaysia had confused its websminster model by implementing aspects of the US presidential model.

For instance, the FOURTH FLOOR advisors we appointed - officially or unofficially from outside the PTD organization. PTD officers that had been providing these services were replaced by new faces - much like how it was practiced in Washington everty time a new president assumes office.

This practice was blatently extended to the so called GLCs. CEOs with practically no industry experience were appointed to manage Khazanah, Telekom Malaysia, Tenaga Nasional, just to name a few.

Malaysia could be forgiven if it had not launched the MSC Project and the Knowledge Economy Masterplan.

The basic tenet of K-Economy is the all important tacit knowledge. And tacit knowledge could not be read from text books. It must be acquired by being an industry insider for many years.

Regretabbly, Telekon Malaysia retired two PhDs from their top most management echelon - the two Dr Rahims - who had spent their entire life in Telekon Malaysia and had obtained doctoral degrees in telecommunication from leading international universities!!

So the issue of giving spiecific reminders and advice to the TPM should not arise.

Just be clear that the we should never confuse our westminster model of government with the US presidential model.

Full empowerment of the PTD officers as our government's managerial and professional resources must be implemented wihout any compromises.

Another advice for Najib! Make sure all the racists and appel polishers are kicked out of NSTP.
From Chairman Jauhar "Yes Kali" Hassun, Kalimuthu Hassun, Syed Faisal, Hisham Aun, Syed Nazri, Kamrul Idris, Lionel Morais, Chandra "Master Conspirator" Segar, Lee Ah Chai, Santa Orjitam, Joseph Soosai, A Kathirason to Lee Siew Lian are too happy to do Kali's bidding to ensure the Malays and Umno ruined.
Dont forget Malaysian Insiders (Spore spy network) of Brendan Pariah, Peng Hon Kwang, Joan Lau, Leslie Lau are working for Kalimuthu to destroy Umno-owned NSTP.
A reminder to Najib, if you dont act against them ... Kali and Gang will kill you off politically!

  45. Mahathir giving advice about family and cronies?

I bet he can't even spell "open tender". The tolled roads, IPPs, the murky workings of the EPU and their budgets are some of his legacies.

Who the hell is he to give that advice???

Sah! NSTP anti-Melayu/Islam. Memang sah Kalimullah Maserul Hassan anti-Melayu/Islam. Pasal tu Cina Hindu dah pandai soal Ketuanan Melayu sampai nak pilih Perdana Menteri pun mereka berhak bukan Umno! Terima Kasih Mahathir! Kalau hang tak pilih Dolah Badawi dulu, tak timbul masalah ni langsung. Skrg hang tengok sendiri...Awat hang bagi penin Najib!

Dear Anonymous @ 10.52am (Rocky, how come Anons still getting away in here?)

Over at “Jebat Must Die”, we’d probably think you are doing an “Atila” but no, the most adorable commentator title there still belongs to him/her, sorry.

To your question, “Is Din a great man to tell us where we should be heading to?”, I honestly don’t know but having read a comment posted by “Apocryphalist” on Din’s recent antic with regards to Demi Negara’s previous posting, your context of “great” above is akin to honouring a Datukship to Shah Rukh Khan, if you know what I mean.

Please read the following, part of Apocryphalist’s comment at Demi Negara’s and that about sums it up as who this Din really is:
“This need to feel a sense of belonging, of being accepted, is an inherent trait in homo sapiens right from time immemorial but in the case of Din, whence Kijang Mas “conveniently forgot” to line his name up with the other bloggers of repute, this need takes on a new vigor. I am still mystified whether it was this non-inclusion, or Kijang Mas’ expose of his eponymous Raja Petra that really ruffled his feathers. But no worry. Din performs a reverse-plagiarism, dissects the offending article and sandwiches his name between some PhDs. Standing from afar and retrospecting this surgery, he rubs his hands and is pleased: he has managed to make the dossier-ripping crime of Gen Colin Powell or the graduate-student-report plagiarism of Tony Blair in the infamous Iraq-War justification case look like a schoolboy’s mid-term exam cheat.”

Now, if this don’t make you feel like “nak gelak”, don’t know what would.

ROCKY, SAW THIS IN APANAMA...IS IT TRUE COZ YOU WERE THERE!
Kalimullah sold the Malay Mail for money, can you imagine that? The paper is so sentimental to the NST Group.
Kalimullah will prostitute his mother, wife and daughters for money. That's how he prostituted Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Abdullah was too stupid to even realise that.
I don't mind paying a few ringgit for the daughter.
    Apek, cincau-limau satu!

Fear rears its ugly head again
United we stand, divided we fall
Cruel tyrants seek to inflict pain
Knights we must be, all for one and one for all.

    Yonder tyrants rise once more
Only we can stem this evil tide
United we must stand to guard the door.

    Murderous forces swiftly gather
    Angry, lustful devils seeking revenge
How true that vultures of the same feather
Always sit and feed around a stench
Take courage my friend, we will overcome this sorrow
Hold strong with Truth as our defender
In times of tyrants, we must fight for tomorrow
Roar like lions, smash the devils — TO ARMS! NO SURRENDER.
