Bernas 2: the next big AP business

Which crony will get it? The first of a series of blog articles by A Voice seems to suggest that there's an concerted effort by people close to the Prime Minister to create an AP business ala Malaysia which will be worth billions of ringgit.

This concerted effort seems to involve using the media to picture Bernas, the sole rice authority in the country, as an ineffective, corrupt and complicated entity. The aim is to prepare the public and the government for the settting up of a "second Bernas". But this new entity, bros and sis, will only handle the APs.

We all know that APs are for cronies, and even monkeys can get fly-helicopter rich in the AP business. There's talk that a friend of the son-in-law could be laughing all the way to all the banks when this happens.

And we wondered why the PM needs more time?

Who says that Badawi is HP6, sleeping all the time & doesn't know how to think. He is smart and can find ways to make money. I salute him.

    Bro,

No wonder our Perlis numero uno guy has been taking sniper hits for the past few weeks - see MT's posted article on Bernas. On the other hand, this may be the golden consideration for him to step down. Either way, I know the rakyat will be taken for yet another very, very expensive ride and it sucks!

  7. Rocky!

The Melayus, in UMNO or anywhere, had better stop complaining or get rid of AAB once and for all! Frankly I am fed up with the griping! Melayu memang bodoh dan bangang dan tak bertelur, tulis lah sa hingga lembu masuk kandang tetap dengan kata kata sahaja tidak akan ada perubahan! How I wish I am anything but Melayu bodoh!

A revetting piece by Another Brick in the Wall.

    Rocky,

Let UMNO people deal with 'who should be the PM', when the time comes. Now, the 'wheels are in motion'.

Let me also remind you that former Prime Minister and UMNO President Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad asked the UMNO folks to "change leadership", 10 Feb last year, in JB.

  9. Bro,

I heard a few years back that the real smuggler of beras is BERNAS itself. That's during Tun's era. Well, when AAB & KJ are in power, it'll be another 'takeover' process. Hmmm, another way to squeeze people's money...

  12. Seems like ECM Big-bra is raking in by leeching on official gov bodies and depts. Remember the bruha on promoting 'Halal' food under the SIL's banner? Stopping mamak restaurants from hanging Islamic decors unless they have a big 'Halal' approval from you-know-who.

Don't you hate Rent-seekers like them? Builds nothing, cultivate nothing but yet owns everything thanks to the 'power-that-be', a SIL philosophy perhaps since he doesn't have a decent job.

As for giving more time to Bedol Napoleon, please do not fall for this yet again. Aren't we all tired of his slogan-making, indecisiveness, policy bungling and hosts of nothingness?

A man who's kind in his lifetime leaves warm and compassion to his kin, Bedol leaves saliva stains and trails on Putrajaya furnitures! That is his 'legacy'.

umno malays are prove living simpletons are alive and kicking.

Does it matter who is at helm in umno? Of course not!!

They are all tailored to the same specification inorder to be a “perfect fit” member.

    The specifications are as followed:
    1. get rich first by screwing the country and people.
    2. then get richer by screwing the country and people more.
    3. then pass on the “formula” to descendant so that they can CONTINUE screwing the country and people.

LAST CHECKED THEY ARE ALL STILL POLITICIANS.

Ps.: perfect fit = dumbo – support given to their leaders and the leaders come back and screw them up good.

umno’s values the very PRIDE of umno.

    LoL

Hi Bro, this is nothing to do with topic. I just wonder why every time there is big national events or issues that coming up involving opposition such as during the Bersih marching, HIDRAF issues, and many more, we here in Johor, feel the bandwidth were and is deteriorating/dragging. Is there a scam by MIMOS or Telekom to limit the access to internet preventing exchange of issues while the issues are still hot. I understand the access will definitely increase during elections and should have some effect, where Internet is where alternative news are sought after. But this should be expected and with so much said about our ICT infra, Malaysia should be able to cope with that.

  16. AP the art of wealth
    Without sweat and tears
    Blow some kisses
    Smiling sweetly

    What others say?
    “I don’t hear you”
    “I am an old man
    I have a new wife
    So you must understand”

    The rats go rampage
    Coming out from the holes
    Smelling of imported cheese
    “Man is best staying wealthy”

    Planning own benefits
    The cronies whisper and cultivate
Plunging deep into the cauldron of wealth
Taking it discreetly under the nose of the law

    ‘Dear Old sleeping head
    Sign it here and there
Now you can enjoy your new wife
We can go under your name
    Take the country’s wealth
Let the people screams and cries
    We have the law
    So we have our rights’

    The people curse
    The people demonstrate
The Police come with shields and batons
    Water cannon and acidic rain

    The court jesters’ smile
    Walking into the banks
    The people are fools
Electing leaders falling for their slogans

    Wake up people
The Pied Piper blowing your minds away
    Come next election
    Show BN
    Your mind never forgets
    The empty promises
    The fools we have become

2X5 saja... dulu/currently when one looks at the majority shareholders of Bernas, one will see who's who (Perlis-based cronies, etc.); Persatuan Peladang cuma ada sikit share saja, and those profits Bernas reaped from its sole AP over the years tak trickle to the pesawah pun (dapatlah "gula2" sikit). This has been going on for ages since zaman tok kadok. Now another smart-assed get-rich quick group suggested alternative to the sole AP model, for their own bellies of course... so what's the difference? Apahal kita tak bising dulu lagi? Now its too late, nasi dah jadi bubur, buat bising pun at the end our pesawah didn't get anything... its all a game by the smart-assed politicians and instant businessmen at the expense of pesawah Melayu. Kena overhaul the whole systemlah bro!

  21. The moment AP door is open for another company.. BERNAS will slowly collapse as most of its subsidiary like JATI, JASMINE, OEL and YHL will start looking for a better partner..
THese co's have been making lots of profits from BERNAS monopolised system and with the money they have now, they can stand on their own..
BERNAS then will on be part of history.

    Hey Pasquale!

Don't talk cock of Melayu, UMNO, and everyone else complaining! They have every right to complain and criticise.

Been follwg for quite sometime and did a read back of your blog. Obvious that you're closely associated with Najib or is his bag carrier. See for yourself here everyone.

Apa punya bodoh si macai Najib ni? Nak jadi spy to diam2lah! Lepas tu nak boss people around to ask to shut up. You should shut up and learn to do more listening to provide feedback to Najib.

You and your bos are in the position to do something. Whattafuck is he doing? Has he got any balls and backbone left?

Go and take on this idiot AAB that is messing up the country now. Stop the sulking and blaming on TDM for not choosing him as replacement!

Get it thru your thick skull that Najib is not chosen becasue he was given time to sort out his personal life! He's got skeleton in closets all over the place. Then there is current and ex wife!

If he is worthy of any substance, takeon AAB lah! All the Deputies of TDM, when unhappy, take on the ole man. Otherwise, Najib agrees with AAB and deserve to be knocked off too! So stop playing safe all the time. Not when it will destroy the country!
