Monster BLOG IT poster!

But not here in KL. This picture was taken during my last visit to Singapore. Three days there and - you know what? - we didn't see even one poster that had their PM's face, his wife's, or any of their politicians'.

Back in Malaysia, it's here, there and everywhere. How much is spent on these posters and who pays for them?

By the way, Nokia, when will we see this pro-BLOG ad on Malaysian billboards? Or will we ever?

Idolatry is kuf'r and shirik. As a Muslim foreigner living in Malaysia, I am sad that this great country is becoming like the Arab nationalist states of the past that eventually failed and caused misery to their people because leaders idolize themselves and encouraged devotion to them by their people. This kind of practice is abhored by Islam and courts God's condemnation. Assalam alaikum.

  7. Hey Rocky,
Hope you had a good time in Singapore. As for posters of our 'beloved' leaders well what can I say you are right its plastered all over the country!!! Talk about self indulgence and glorification at the rakyat's expense. Just wish more people from the heartland of Malaysia will realize that we are slipping and sliding down to obscurity!!!! Am at a lost!!! I have read RPK's article 'Heal Thyself' and have duly registered as I have never voted in my life. I want to make a difference just hope there are more like me out there!!!

To say we are mad is an understatment. To say we are cheesed off is an understatment. To say we are befuddled is an understatment. WE ARE MAD AS HELL! WE ARE GOING TO FATIN (mad in cantonese).

  9. Good point, Rocky.

I remembered seeing one gigantic Samy Vellu banner, so large it just wraps one side of that MIC building, or so I suppose.

After the 30,000 Indian-day, do they still have the guts to leave it hung over there with all the dignity that God knows they have.

    Rocky,

waht's wrong with you? Of course, the Rakyat had to pya for their nonesense. Don't you tell me that Khairy and Kalimullah paid for it?Not in a milion year, they only take.

Since very few people knew about our PM, then it is only fair that we should have more psoter of him nad his 50 years old wife/chamber maid!

This country wasted so much of its monies/resources to people like the SIL, Scomi and ECM Libra.

strange to say that sometimes when you cannot worship an idol, what then do you replace it with? If you look at old European paintings, the patron whom commissioned those paintings will get themselves painted into the painting amongst the gods. any difference here?

    Rocky Bru

You think Bodowi,Khariy, Kamaludin and Kalimullah will pay for hte costs of posters to glorify the Sleeping PM. You got ot be joking and at the same time dreaming.

It will always be the Rakyat, who pays for the PM's excessess. So we all must get rid of him, Khairy, Kamaludin, Kalimullah and Patrick Bodowi.

Huh, now only you guys realize?? Those are 'siok sendiri' tactics from our old pm, Tun Mahatir and Bodohwi just continue his legacy. Nothing new at all. Is just that Bodohwi is making it a huge event, putting up more and more posters compare to Tun.

Why? Cause he want to tell you all he is more powerful then Tun, with his 2/3 majority power. He want to tell you all that he can do what ever he want 'sama ada u orang suka atau tidak'! Get it????

Earlier in the year, I noticed a new poster on the billboard in my area. I mentioned it to my BIL. It was then that my BIL told me about a circular from S'ngor SUK to govt dept in S'ngor that all old photographs of Khir Toyo must be taken down and replaced by new ones. The new posters and pictures show Khir Toyo without glasses, purportedly to make him look younger and also to show the effect of a face peel. It's up to you to decide if it is fact or fiction.

The next thing Malaysia would have is the giant statue of the Sleeping PM...provided BN are given another decade of mandate by the Malaysian... It could be one of the wonder of the world you know, good for tourism eh..

I'm eagerly waiting for the opportunity & time I could piss & shit on their graves..the best is to do it on their face while they're still breathing..

Hope my dream may come true...Oh God The Merciful hope you can answer my prayer!
