When I fall in love, it's for ever ...

Quotable quotes from a "happy Prime Minister".
Pak Lah speaks to reporters about falling in love again and the wedding Saturday.
“How can it not be meaningful? That is God's will. A woman completes a man.”

"God has created in your heart many spaces for different people that you can love as much as you want."

“Endon's pictures will remain where they are. I will never forget her. Those are lasting memories."

“A happy Prime Minister can do a lot of good work. I'm not saying I've not been happy so far, but I'm happier with a companion now.”
And despite Kamal Khalid's directive [here] to the mainstream media editors not to refer Jeanne Abdullah as a janda or the late PM's sister0in-law, The Star printed what Pak Lah said:
Asked when he first knew Jeanne and how long they had known each other, Abdullah said:
“Maybe at least 20 years. She is actually part of the family. She is Kak Endon's sister-in-law. She was married to her younger brother but they separated more than 15 years ago.”
Read the complete Star article here. Bernama also has the story PM says Jeanne and him compatible.

  1. Hi Rocky,
The mainstream press was instructed not to report any "unauthorised" information on Jeanne they pick up from other sources, but they were free to quote whatever Pak Lah said directly. Just confirmed that with a Star fella.

    Bro,
Since she was married to Osman Mahmud and now bride to be, i just wonder about her name Jeanne Danker, it is meant that she change her name after she became janda thats taook 15 years man, so during that years she's known as Jeanne Danker and during those years did she maintain her faith and now she got to change again..another flip-flop huh!

  4. Aaah... to fall in love all over again...
I suppose under the circumstances better a relative, never mind if she was your beloved wife's brother's ex-wife, than a sexy young thing, huh?

Like I've said before. I've heard only goooood things about Ms Danker.

A man who has had a happy marriage is more likely than not to remarry when his wife dies. Having had the love and support of a spouse, such a man is always desperate to find a replacement crutch. Pak Lah strikes me as a man who needs a woman at his side to tell him what to do and how to run the nation. Maybe had Kak Endon been well during his early days as PM, he wouldn't be so blur. He got worse when she died. Maybe Jeanne can steer him in the right direction, or at least steer him into early retirement. My only worry is that there is no one competent enough to take over. Najib? Nah! Hishammuddin? Nah! Nah! Nazri? I'd rather migrate. Khairy? May God have mercy on us!! Muhyideen? Heaven forbid! But I'd take a chance with Rafidah. Call her corrupt if you will, but show me a minister or BN leader who is not corrupt and I will show you a pig that can fly. At least we will have a competent leader in her. Men should not be so arrogant as to think that a woman can't lead.Pak Lah has every right to find love and happiness again but I admit I'm rather disappointed that he found Kak Endon so easily replaceable that less than two years after her death, he has consigned her to "lasting memories". Speaks volumes of the man's sincerity or lack of it.

it really doesnt matter what the instructions were. The fact remains that Kamal had to give instructions -- dont do this, do this.

There was no need for that kind of instructions-lah, in the first place.

  12. 1. With Pak Lah known to be not well and sufferign from ailments, does having Jeanne around help from him not falling asleep during functions and meeting?

    2. With the commonly heard mentally "lembab" nature of Pak Lah, does having Jeanne help Pak Lah to be more mentally alert to be on-top to grasp the material in the papers, briefs, draft speeches, etc.

    What say you people?

"When I fall in love, it's for ever ..".

Wow! However, what comes after is more important.

When I fall in love, it's for ever and the same for the next one that comes after.

    Stating the obvious, no?

    A Voice,

I'd say too much sex could lead to those two things you listed there. So not hoping for any change.

Bodoh punya Kamal Khalid. Berlagak pandai..inilah orang kata makan gaji buta. In the first place he is not a media man. He is a stupid man. Commonlah, nak tutup apa...ingat orang Malaysia ni semua pekak dan buta ke????Bodoh. Pak Lah tau yang benda macam ni tak boleh sembunyi punya. Buat apa nak sorok-sorok. Lagi pun apa salahnya...itu pilihan Pak Lah. Sekarang siapa malu...bodoh.

    rocky,
i read the star article. i am so nauseated, actually. a 67 year-old widower talking about LOVE. Falling in love? Yuck!
and so soon after your wife's death makes it even more distasteful.
I don't think the Prime Minister is aware of that.

All in bad taste. All in bad taste.
Moreover, the PM tried to "cover" the rumour issue.
    what a load of crap.

    Dear Rocky,
Let me also record my congratulations to Mr & Mrs Prime Minister..may their marital union be showered with God's choicest blessings. Heres hoping too that Jeanne is the perfect tonic (gin tonic???) for ABB's sleeping (sleepy???) administration.

People are actually concerned about Jeanne's name?! My name is Sharon Nelson. I am Indian, Christian and I will stand shoulder to shoulder with any person of any faith in this country and declare my deepest respect, my inadequate knowledge and my profound desire to learn as much as I can about their respective religions. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
