Adha

Selamat Hari Raya Korban.

There's talk of another increase in petrol/diesel prices come the New Year. You may have heard it, too, so let me remind you of what our PM said the last time such rumours were spreading: don't listen to damn rumours!
It is Eid-Adha, people. If we, the people, were asked to sacrifice a little bit more, just how bad could it hurt?
No, it can't be true. I won't believe it. Someone started this vicious rumour to spoil the festive mood.

    Bro
Mula2 turunkan cukai jalan. Kemudian naikkan harga minyak. Tu kah strateginya?
Sepatah kata orang Penang, pi mai pi mai tang tu lah gamaknya.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha, Selamat Tahun Baru 2007.

Najib already said the 'caring' government will lower road tax and excise duties effective Jan 1. Thats the sweetener clue.

Now they will announce a huge petrol price hike while everyone's at their New Year's Eve parties and are feeling so good they couldn't care.

    RM 2.25? Enjoy.

    Tuan Rocky,

    Minta Saudara jangan permainkan Islam.

With this Government, nothing surprises me anymore. This is the price of folly. Of believing sweettalkers and Imams. We had been fooled. We're paying the price of our 2004 mistakes. We'll have to wait for 2007 or 2008 to correct it.

  9. Bro,
    "Selamat Hari Korban"
The PM did promise last year that he WON'T increase the price of petrol after the last hike for the whole year 2006... and if he DID increase the price of petrol tomorrow (i.e. the 1st of January 2007)then he had been a damn good PM because he kept his bleeding words ,right?
So how can we not trust our dear beloved PM !
That is why we, the voting morons get to pay thru our noses for all the mistakes of the government and when natural disasters come those fat corporations and corrupt MPs are nowhere in sight to help and as usual we the morons are called to open up our hearts and already dried-up pockets to donate. We are the "korban" !
Keep it up Mr. Prime Minister !

    Bro Rocky,
Cukai jalan mende yang turun? Pi tengok data yang diberi amat tipis kalau dibahagikan kepada 12 bulan penurunan sebanyak RM10.00 maka penjimatan yang boleh dibuat ialah RM0.83sen sebulan. Banyak tu. Pengorbanan kerajaan yang Peka.

Minyak naik lagi 0.20sen (agaknya kot?) Isi 5 liter dah RM1.00 seringgit naik.

Cukai jalan mende yang turun? Nak bagi `cover-line`. Tol naik lagi esok. Air naik. Tambang kenderaan naik. Air naik...Banjir.

Bila air naik...ramai para pemimpin naik kapal terbang pergi makan angin. Naik angin-lah rakyat.

Bukan Orang Penang kata betui sunggoh. Strategi Kepimpinan Hadari. Buat senyap-senyap bagi depa tak sedaq diri.

    Welcome 2007...same shit different year.

    The PM's answer:--
No petrol price hike? Then whose fairy godmother is going to pay Russia for carrying our astronaunt to space in October 2007? How the hell are we to bail out more failed privated projects tendered out to our cronies? Are you all willing to donate RM81 million to repair the damage done by the floods? No? Then a slight increase of 40sen per litre won't hurt anyone, no? 40sen only! Hey, your cup of coffee alone costs 90sen!
