The rise of Business Blogs and Bandit's take on Slime Darby

Sime Darby Watch has been on my "Politics Anonymous" blogroll for months before the current mess that's dragging down our corporate golliath. But even before SDW, Malaysian business blogs have been making their presence felt. I am a follower of some of them for months and I would like to share them with you by developing a new category of blogroll on Business Blogs.
I'll start with 10, including SDW. Most of them are Anonymous, obviously due to the need to protect the corporations they work for during the day.
If you are put off by "business", don't make the mistake of thinking that these Biz Blogs are boring.

Telco Talk's latest posting, for example, is Celcom got raided by Jakim.

Malaysia-Finance Blogspot knows how to spice up a serious blog with Advice for Bloggers and lovely business models (left) and wonderful audio selection.

myCEOwatch, just over a month old, is curried with enough political ingredients to burn your screen. Check our the blog's take on Whose boy is T Zafrul, really? and From Sime to Slime.

And still at Sime Darby, read Bandit's thesis on Zubir's Devious Red Herring.

In a matter of time its not going to be an industrial court case but a ciminal case.Badrul has met several officers from certain government authority to give his unofficial statement.Good luck, play your part well Bandit coz its going to be a sticky game.

You didnt pose the question to the political beast who has the direct order.

    my nick is Morais.

Tengku Zahfrul,is he related to JJ? His mum was a DG in EPU. I do believe, THAT this guy lacks ethics, by being a shareholder in a company with Kali and Ken Onn, after ECM bought over Avenue.

I was told, Kali is very worried, that ECMmite lose business after this. Those who want todo restructuring work, beware...if your company is good enough, Kali might just take it. AND hey, do you know, who is Zafrul"s partner in the power takeover. Noneother than a datuk linked to Bina Fikir. If there is any doubt ask the bankers--- CIMB, AM BANK, RHB AND Maybank who were there at the proposal or ask Zulkifly Rafique . Is Azman Mokhtar still with Khazanah?

Kalimulah, is using KJ... i wonder, who conviniently leaked KJ buying into ECM, KJ wanting to goto Khazanah.... I wonder who..... or dear K, do you know what the dewa says about you in your back... he really dont like you going to ECM and taking $$$ all the time, especially when he not there, coz the ECM people will start calling him. What he called you had something to do with intercourse and your old lady

aha yes.... blame it all on Zafrul.... hey it wan kean Onn who took the proposal...zafrul, just Ali Baba lah. As for Kali.... he just issues denial at Bangsar sea food....really it wasnt me

  9. Celcom is slimy..so is Astro.

Someone should do an expose on how much these two are screwing the people. Celcom through its promo gimmicks/thievery where many are UNAWARE that CELCOM CHARGES YOU FOR EACH SMS TO DISCONTINUE PROMO TRIALS WHICH YOUR NEVER SOLICITED OR CARED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. I just found out last week how they charged me for a Caller Ring Tone service discontinuation which I never subscribed to in the first place. I was surprised to receive an sms that informed me that the trial service (which I never agreed too, but was just imposed upon me) would continue automatically tomorrow at RM3 per month unless i sent an SMS to cancel. And that sms would cost me 15sen.

IS THAT FAIR????? How many people have been charged the same? How many millions would that add to their revenue HARAM?

And Astro, how much money do they make through our subscription fees which are supposed to give us AD FREE viewing? (isn't that what satellite tv is all about? just imagine the revenue from all those ads on top of those fees) ..and how they save on the programmes by RECYCLING the same old movies ever so often...where are all the good mini-series on HBO,real-life and poignant movies and series that Hallmark channels are known for?

These CORPORATE CROOKS esp the telcos need to be exposed for what they are.

    PETTY THIEVES AND CHEATS.

  14. Sime has a habit doing boo boo every time they go on an acquisition and new businesses... eg sime bank, bajun project, foreign acquisition, projet, etc.

Problem with sime darby is they are too big, bureaucratic and lethargic. They have british blue attitude in their wasy of doing things. They shd hv been broken up instead.

BUt some stupid asshole in CIMB and tkt 4 think that bigger is better? Dont forget the idiot's adviser called black raccoon hardup to be a chairman of a major company.

  29. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention. I was a little distracted by your lovely business models. Reminds me of the George Costanza factor - abstinence ("absolute zero! of course") sex ("what is this used for... pzzz.. take me to your leader").

Lust is the easiest way to destruction. Didn't anybody not lusty tell you that. I'm sorry.
