And Allah continues to bless us ...

Update, 16/11: Malaysia's non-Muslims have hailed the new Selangor MB for returningthe seized "Allah" bibles, dubbing Azmin "a true Malaysian leader".
a/l Samy Vellu: Hats off to Azmin
Actually, what Azmin did was to undo an issue that was so poorly handled by the state authorities it became a crisis that almost destroyed decades of peaceful Muslim-Christian co-existence in Malaysia.
It's important to note that it's still illegal to own or distribute a Bible that contains the word "Allah". The Bibles were returned with the understanding that they won't remain in Selangor (Returned Bibles not to be distributed in Selangor, says MAIS)

Original posting:

I was just thinking of his songs yesterday.
The posting that comes with this beautiful number, though, is grim and bloody and tragic:  453 (Great Britain) vs 21,000 (Afghanistan)It's more like the world's against the Afghan Muslims.
Here in Malaysia we happily continue to "kill" one another over dogs and pondans and GST and the cash handouts the Government's giving to the poor. We take peace for granted and we aren't thankful for our blessings, like the fact that we continue to enjoy full employment, essentials and medical services are still cheap, and our economy is better than fine.
I'm happy that they returned the Bibles that they seized over a year ago (did they erase the word "Allah" from those holy books before returning them?}. Good for Azmin Ali, the new Selangor Menteri Besar,  and long live the Sultan of Selangor who was instrumental in getting the Bibles returned. Just please don't do it again lah.

And you dear Pak Rocky's bru advised your Christian friends not to use kalimah Allah in their bible, pulblications and while talking.

The kalimah Allah is not permitted by law for the kafir to use it. As long as they respect the law, we the Muslim are not going to do them any harms

Muslims do not meddle with the text of the bibles. Why should some Christains have to use the holy word, "Allah" to disturb the peace of Muslims? They don't need to use "Allah" in their translation of the bibles into BM, unless they do it on purpose in order to irritate our Muslims. It's a sensitive issue..so just don't argue and stop it for God's sake! Don't make God angry....

See.. Who is challenging who now? Its not that muslim are so bloody weak. But if the word Allah can be used freely by other religion, it will open flowgate for others things. Prevention is always better than cure for every disease..

Ya, Selangor Muslims' faith are so weak they believe all the words coming out from Anwar's Rafizi's Tony Pua's mouth. 40,000 banglas? Oh, come on!

  9. Most Christians must be honest that they can still practise their faith without the need to use the kalimah Allah. Problem is that there are too many christians playing politics; stirring up hatred and vengeance instead of following Jesus in preaching love and forgiveness. Even Christmas is about peace on earth and goodwill to men - not pressuring authorities to charge and prosecute others. Jason

According to the Malay Mail report, the return of the Bibles to the Christians has nothing to do with Azmin.

  11. Selain Indonesia, Malaysia (Sabah& Sarawak), negara2 Arab, adakah negara2 lain yg menggunakan kalimah Allah di dlm kitab Injil? Yg menyedihkan org2 Islam hari ini termasuk org bijak pandai dlm agama Islam, mereka justify sesuatu isu tanpa menggunakan logik, persekitaran, lokasi geografi dsbnya. Ada yg memanipulasikan Allah utk membenarkan tindakan salah mereka.
