Waging war against the government

"We want to start a war in London tonight". - British soldier butchered, AFP

Lately we hear Malaysians talking about toppling the government and we think, wow, so brave one. But then you read about this British dude (pic above) and his friend who killed a man on a busy street and beheaded him because he was a British soldier and this dude and his equally crazy buddy wanted to topple their Government.
"We must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth," the dude said. I apologise that women have had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your government, they don't care about you."
When people get carried away, they do stupid, crazy things. And then we call them barbarians and their act "cowardly". Britain and the US, of course, view the attackers as "Muslims" but I see them as what they must be: British citizens. Already, there is a crackdown in the UK as the authorities arrest Muslims at their homes and around mosques. The profiling would begin. In the US, following the Boston Marathon bombing, the authorities have gunned down suspects. The latest was a so-called suspect tied to the alleged bombers, shot dead by the FBI during questioning.

We are fortunate that the Malaysians who threaten/promise to topple the Government by sheer force and violence have not gone totally mental or have been arrested before they could do something really stupid and crazy. Since the general election on May 5, after Anwar Ibrahim made it clear that he was going to fight the people's will and wish to return Najib Razak's BN to government, several individuals have been nabbed, from bloggers Papagomo and King Jason to two elected reps and several outspoken political mules, including a 24-year old student activist. Read A Nation OF and BY the Rule of Law by Big Dog.

A former DPM's son picked up after lunch today in Bangsar
We can expect the pro-Opposition groups to condemn new Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for the arrests. Perhaps for the first time, however, a huge section of Malaysians are also speaking out in support of such pre-emptive strike by the authorities against these elements. And you can't blame them: they have all witnessed the Arab Spring, the violence, the deaths from their living rooms, thanks to the TV and the Internet. They have also heard the speeches made by those Malaysians whom many had never heard of before, calling on "the people" to head for the streets today and remove their government. All it takes is one dude crazy enough to start a war .. and for all hell to break loose in Malaysia.

  3. Whats happening in Malaysia is fast becoming a most horrific tragedy. Theres too much hatred amongst us. How can we embrace our kids and teach them about love, when we, ourselves, are overflowing with rage and anger? There has to be a way to unite the people. There has to be someone out there whom everyone can listen to and get us through this nightmare. We need to get back to how it was before, to that age of innocence, when i would gladly risk my life for the guy next door, not because hes a Malay or Chinese, Muslim or Buddhist. But because deep down inside, i know he would do the same for me, irrespective of race or creed.

    Rocky,
Is it true that some big guns of the opposition is now toning down on their springs. Seems to be using the light-weight spring rather than the heavy-duty locomotive springs?
About the accusations that will come flying in, it is just a trend of the anonymouses. No name is better than a name, right?
The deluge of the lowyers, pomentators, politikus et al will overhelm everything in their path.
But then, you are my man, will take everything with a grain of coffee.

The main reason why the rakyat are restless and angry is that they are cheated of a legitimate Government. You should know better, Rocky the Cheat.

he already said "remove YOUR govt".. and then talks about "in OUR land women see this..." he does not think of himself as a briton fighting for his country. this is a religious issue between muslims and the british govt, even a child could tell you that.

your spinning is so frikkin stupid nowdays your bosses must be so pissed off on how youre turning the masses off. the only people that support you here are just like you - paid by BN.

    Dear Rocky 's bru,

I think Malaysians really need to tone done a bit. Malaysia is hot these days, even with the rain off and on. It is not going to be cooling because of the weather. It is the human heat that is steaming hot and if it continues like this without recourse, I believe many of us will go for an extended holiday with no return.

As a senior citizen and have had the experience of the good, the bad and the ugly of this nation since the day I learn to sing Negara Ku, I am absolutely disappointed with some of our hypocritical political leaders, both friends and enemies in politics. I could not help to remind myself that my family and I owed a lot to this beautiful country called Malaysia. I condemned all those erratic politicians who have said that "negara ini bukan bapak awak punya." Extremely arrogant and distasteful statement and expressed by someone who was once the number two leader in Malaysia.

Today is a Good Friday for all Muslim brothers and sisters and I have to be a bit sober in my remarks. In conclusion, I would like to quote and share the following statements of wisdom:

"It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those unspeakably precious things: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them" - Mark Twain.

"Democracy is a way of life. Democracy is sincerity, friendliness, courage and tolerance. If your life and mine do not exemplify these characteristics, we do have right to call ourselves full fledged citizens of the world's greatest democracy" - Melvin J. Evans.

  14. Well, Trifling-Jester, you believe what you like. I believe the attackers are most likely British citizens who are against their own Government. They are not Afghans, Iraqis or Iranians. Some reports said they are of Nigerian descent but are British citizens. This "OUR" land and "YOUR" government rants are delusional chants. Even in Malaysia, you guys have been practising the "US and THEM" slogan for some years now.

Soon the Haris Ibrahims and Adam Adlis of Malaysia will be telling "US" to topple "YOUR" government. Najib, for eg, is not OUR prime minister, it's "YOUR" PM, and so on and so forth.

It takes one crazy fella, TJ, just one. Luckily Haris and Adam are not mental enough. Tian Chua was rabid once, biting a policeman and all but he seems to have toned down after making MP, thank Allah.

Chanting "Allahu Akhbar" does not make one a Muslim or a terrorist. In Malaysia, for example, some non-Muslims have been fighting tooth and nail to get to chant "Allah".

these pakatan loud mouths just don't get it

that the silent majority REJECT the liars, the hatemongers, the lembus, the communist lovers and the gullible youths

must be their faulty eardrums after all that shouting and screaming

hopefully they will be rendered mute - peace and quiet will then prevail

In case you have been avoiding all news reports of Pakatan organised events after 5/5/2013, you may want to know as follows:

    a. Pakatan Rakyat does not favour toppling the BN regime through street protests. You can plead innocence that this was not in the mainstream media. Of course, it will never appear. You and your gang have systematically ensured that positive news on Pakatan should not be in such media.

    b. The street protest idea is by ABU, and other NGOs. You will not know this either. Same reason as in a) above.

    c. Pakatan is organising rallies to tell the rakyat how BN sneaked into power through suspicious means. We call that 'explaining to the public'. You will say probably - poisoning the rakyat's thoughts. And if you have followed the messages - you would not have missed the fact that Pakatan will be following the law to file the objections for 27 federal seats' results.

    d. Hypothetically, if Pakatn wins all the 27 cases - it means another 27 seats to be added to the present 89 seats held by Pakatan. That will be 116 seats. Would you say that a coalition with 116 seats will still want to be the opposition? Do you not see that if it eventuality happens, the BN regime will be naturally replaced with a new regime? This is how Pakatan wants to take over -following the legal way. You have a problem with that?

    e. Ambiga mooted the idea of a Peoples' Tribunal. Pakatan is not the patron of this initiative. But you will not be able to see this distinction. For you, anyone that does something like this comes under the general classification of 'Pakatan Rioters'. Why?

By the way, you would have been informed (because you do not want to know yourself by reading the alternative media reports) that till now, there have been no untoward incidents at the rallies. This is despite the fact that the turnout was large and the crowd was multi-racial. Police also did not have to intervene.

This is the new direction of the people who have been energised.

Even during the vigils for the 23 year old guy, there was no problem at Jinjang and Penang. But this peace was disrupted by samsengs and police reports had to be made against the samsengs.

How come your gang never made any police report about the rallies, for the police to act upon? They had to do their own reports to go after the organisers and those who spoke at the events.

Society is maturing, and its no more the mobs that are in charge to create ruckus evrywhere.

So, why are you still trying to feature Malaysians as potential trouble makers, especially, if they do not support BN?

You can see two deaths in UK, but you cannot see sudden asthma attacks that kill citizens in police lock ups?

We need health-friendly lock ups ( I am not suggesting 5-star quality, lest you interpret that way) so that with the good surroundings and nutritional food served there, citizens who are guests of the police actually come out more healthy (even if they finally end up in the gallows).

That too comes under the minister who recommended migration for the folks who did not vote for BN. You ada masa cakap sama itu minister? He too is keeping quiet on this matter, and I thought the new broom sweeps well!
