Who's going to ask Nazir to quit the bank?

"Who goes to Insta to bitch? Instagram is for pretty pics. Cipet betul Nazir nih."Jasmeen, on FB, yesterday

Original post:

Perhaps Badlisyah Abdul Ghani should ask Nazir to do the needful ...

Last July, CIMB Group chairman Nazir Razak was quick - some people felt, too quick - to apologise  via Instagram on behalf of the bank and posted this photo of grinning CIMB bosses to shame Badlisyah, who was at the time one of his own CEOs, for committing a social media gaffe. "We will conduct an internal inquiry," Nazir declared. As a mater of honour, Badlisyah decided to quit rather than appear before the inquiry.

Over the weekend, Nazir had a gaffe to all his own [Nazir Razak removes Instagram post on inaccurate heading, The Star 15/1]. I don't expect Nazir to sack himself from CIMB or get the bank to start a domestic inquiry to probe his own booboo, but I was expecting, at least, a small apology in the name of professional courtesy from him to Arul Kanda, the 1MDB boss, for his posting.

Nazir can blame the Malaysian Insider for misreporting Arul and misleading him (the portal had to carry two corrections to the same heading because the first correction turned out to be misleading also!) but who is supposed to be the industry expert here: the Malaysian Insider reporter or Nazir Razak?

The average Malaysian pun not as gullible anymore when it comes to some portals ...

The TMI headline that got Nazir trending on social media for the wrong reason!

How different, indeed?

    Riiiiiiight.....

Then you post links from Eric See To and the illiterate doggie, pulak (your bahasa omputih lagi malu, bro).

I wanted to see "services rendered in return for cash" then I would be a voyeur in Lorong Haji Taib.

    No thanks.

"Another lie Arul Kanda said was that 1MDB bought the IPPs in 2012 at above market prices because they want to reduce the tariff, in order to help the rakyat.
“End of the day, the people will benefit”.

    That is what he said.

But the electricity tariff went up 15% on 1st January 2014!

In the first place, the answer to the question as to why the IPPs were bought at above market prices did not have any correlation with the increase or decrease of rakyat’s electricity bills.

The immediate impact it had was that 1MDB incurred about RM18 billion of debts! The end game unfortunately is – the rakyat had to lose their IPPs after this stupid company had bought them at such high costs and on top of that, they had to pay higher electricity bills!

PM increased electricity rates in January 2014 after throwing away RM18 billion to buy IPPs in 2012.

So what kind of stupidity have Arul Kanda said when he told the simpletons at PWTC yesterday that buying private IPPs from their owners at an astronomical prices will bring down the tariffs?!

Did he eat a bottle of stupid pills yesterday morning and hoped for the best?

Which part of this had benefited the rakyat? 1MDB promised that the tariff will be reduced, but that was just a lie. Worse, the tariff rate did not even maintain at the current level it had, it went up instead!

    See:

    https://jebatmustdie.wordpress.com/2015/11/15/arul-kanda-said-so-many-stupid-things-about-1mdb-it-is-just-sickening/

Can someone ask Arul Kanda whether he knows the difference between going UP and going DOWN???

    Chehhhhh...

    The Caymans lie gets worse:

"#3 CERITA TERBARU PAKEJ PERCUTIAAN KEPULAUAN CAYMAN

Ketiga, beliau kerap kali menukar ceritanya berkenaan status penebusan dana Cayman.

Note, this is a complete contradiction to what the bald Indian and balding Bugis have said before re: the Caymans.

So much for "professionalism", I guess....

    HUH????

    Hang dah lupa ke?

It was no "social media gaffe", it was some deep analysis about SWIFT codes that "conclusively proved" that the $700 million transfer into the PM's account via Wells Fargo never happened.

Some bloggers were so convinced, that they went to town with this SWIFT theory until it was SWIFTly proven to be 100% wrong.

    Now, which blogger was that?

Saya percaya Nazir bukan anak Tun Razak. Tingkah lakunya sungguh tidak berhemah dan kebudak2an.

Rasanya Nazir anak angkat Tun Razak. Ada pasangan orang asing dan orang tempatan yang tinggalkan bayi digate rumah seri perdana.

Tun rahah kesian lalu diambil. Besar jadi manja dan mengada.

  8. Datuk,

I see your posting today is having links to Cina, India, Melayu in reference to that banking Alan B'stard.

Coincidentally, its the initials of CIMB.

P/S: One of the directors of CIMB was my ex-boss. Along with another, who was made as a topic of contention by the Alan B'stard as he tried to manipulate the situation.
