Monkey see Monkey do, Monkey sorry Monkey sue

"Saya akan mengambil tindakan undang undang terhadap siapa yang menfitnah dan memusing kenyataan saya. Pekara ini seharusnya tidak diputarbelitkan, Saya sedia berjumpa dengan Cuepacs untuk menjelaskan pekara ini."- Derek Fernandez, in saying sorry for using the M word here

Derek Fernandez, the MBPJ councilor, has apologized for using the word "monkeys" in his interview with Malay Mail on potential candidates for the appointment of a new Mayor of Petaling Jaya.

Good.

But, whoa, he's not done yet. Mr Derek Fernandez seems to suggest that his remarks might have been manipulated by some people and he is promising to "take legal action against anyone who defamed me and spun my statement".

Monkey see Monkey do
Monkey sorry Monkey sue

I've read the interview with the Malay Mail again. I think it's pretty straight forward, no spin at all. Derek Fernandez did use the M word as he intended.

Anything informative or of any value in your reporting here? Why don't you write on something of value like good governance, clean government free of corruption, croniysm, wastage of public funds, racial tolerance, etc.

Unless you are blind no one can deny there are lots of monkeys in the civil services. Why pick on this trivial matter when there are tons of serious issues committed by BN that need to be highlighted?

seperti biasa..proceed to "i will sue Utusan".

Utusan jugak yang kena.saja nak bagi persepsi rakyat nampak "utusan ni pembohong" sebab asyik nak kena saman aje.

hakikatnya berapa orang je betul2 saman utusan?

Very unprofessional when using slur words. We usually heard this word used by many bigot singaporean including malaysian with singapore PR use this word refering to Malaysian (especially the malays). By experience, they love to use this word monkey/ orang utan to show they are more civilised. Really disgusting. He should be transported back to singapura.

Fernandez was quoted by the Malay Mail on Monday as saying “let’s see who the candidates are. If they (PSD) are going to nominate some monkeys, we will reject."

And he threathens those who manipulate his statement with legal action.

He stands firm that he referred some civil servants as MONKEYS.

So, what was his apology for? You contra-dicks yourself Mister.

  22. Derek ni apologise ke tidak, tak jelaslah.

Kalau nak apologise do it sincerelylah, tak perlu nak saman org lain pula.

You've just stirred the hornet's nest Derek, do you realise that or not. Cuepacs are up in arms over your monkey remark.
