Coming back to your questioning of my qualifications and experience (not that its any of your business), suffice it to say that I graduated from a foreign university that places higher in international rankings than UM, USM, UKM or UTM. That is a matter of record. Also on record is the fact that I was admitted to this university on the basis of my academic results in Malaysia (no quotas or privileges, mind you) and that I graduated with a good degree in a numerate discipline. Plus there is the fact that I have lived and worked outside Malaysia for xx years, in a number of countries, and in a number of high tech fields.
So, like I wrote earlier, this is one "moron" who has benefited from globalisation, and who has not made use of affirmative action, quotas, privileges or gerrymandering, and who has not experienced the dubious pleasures of doing business with middlemen, rent seekers and political sycophants (although I do see a fair number of these types infesting the coffee shops and bars in certain luxury hotels in KL, whenever I make a peregrination to catch up with my "roots").
