It's weird, to say the least. I told my source (note: always challenge your source, no matter how many times he's been right in the past) that it's too fantastic!
I mean, just last September Anwar Ibrahim had demanded for a special parliamentary session to table a motion of NO CONFIDENCE against the Prime Minister. I was rooting for that unprecedented motion but any fool would know it was not going to happen.
And now, a month or so before Pak Lah is about to step down, they want to table another unprecedented something: a motion of CONFIDENCE in the Prime Minister!
Too fantastic to believe. Or is it?
Think again, Rocky: Hadi did go on record to say (after Pakatan Rakyat's emphatic victory in the Kuala Terengganu by-election) that Hadi wanted Pak Lah to stay as Prime Minister. Hadi said Pak Lah has got reforms to complete and that Pakatan Rakyat would be solidly behind the Prime Minister to continue as PM and not step down as scheduled so that he could achieve these reforms. Now, if I'm not mistaken, neither PKR nor DAP have commented on Hadi's statement. So an unprecedented Motion of Confidence is not a bad idea at all.
p.s. Pak Lah is due to step down as PM on March 31. The next day is April Fool's. Parliament starts next Monday.

Paklah is one of the major reason why all these happen. Otherwise, there is no strength in Pakatan Rakyat. His weakness strengthen and flourish the opposition. Many people I know voted opposition becoz they hate BN ( why? you tell me?), not becoz they like PR.

A small country like us needs a strong intelligent leader who can lead the nation, visionary, can control and priorities the different wants and needs of the rakyat, be very proactive, can move the butts of the government agencies (such as Jabatan kebajikan Masyarakat, etc) , the coalition and get his people implements policies ( yes, policies can be made, but making them work is another problem). And do not listen to his family, wife, in laws or whoever to mae a policy. The rakyat is his boss.

Karpal and the royals: ‘Blame Dr M’

GEORGE TOWN: DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng defended Karpal Singh and blamed former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for the uproar over the DAP national chairman’s plan to sue the Sultan of Perak.
He said Karpal was merely stating a matter of law that the Sultan could be taken to court.
Lim, who is Penang Chief Minister, said it was Dr Mahathir who was behind the 1993 constitutional amendment that allowed Rulers to be stripped of their immunity from prosecution.
“If we look at history, the person who made this law was from Umno itself. If you want to place blame, then blame the Umno person who is responsible for the deed,” he told pressmen before receiving a courtesy call from the Penang Bar Committee at his office in Komtar Friday.
Asked whether public support was waning for the DAP stemming from Karpal’s outburst against the Sultan, Lim retorted that it was only Umno who was angry with the party leader.
“What wrong has been committed by Pakatan Rakyat or Karpal Singh?” he asked.

Somebody calling for "Vote of confidence for PM" and there will be another motion to get "Vote of confidence for NTR as PM" and then....PR comes out with motion on "Vote of no confidence on BN". As I see it, with AAB and NTR split with BN votes, PR squeeze through and take over the federal government...heh heh heh....

I love to see Ministers like Azalina, tuned in, casual and intelligent. And the new Perak CM, wow, my 15yr old son terpegun dengan ucapan, suara and all.. and with his qualification, pray to God he will bring in new effective sincere ideas.
Not so much like the Penang fella, like father like son attitude, old timer attitude.. Karpal, TokNik, Hadi, even Anwar, Najib pun dah nak sampai umur kut situ, semua ideas dah TERAMAT BASI...
